Ok, so here's what you do.. get some Brie and some walnuts and some cranberries and a "sourdough bowl" and cut the top like your going to make dill dip and then put the brie in there then the pear slices nuts and berries then bake at 350 for about 25 to 35 min or until it's warm.. then tear apart bread and dip... YUMMMMMMMM!!!

the other recipe I know is to take Pears, apples, squash and sweet potatos and cube them all, take some brown sugar and some nuts and dried berries and mix them all togehter in a casarole pan and bake for 45 minutes until soft and bubbly.. soo good - even better if you make a crumble top for it..

Pear cobbler sounds so yummy. Let me know how it turns out. Please make plans to come to NYC. You'll love Broadway especially since you have that acting gene in your blood like me.

The great thing about pears if kept refrigerated they'll last quite a while in the crisper. Just pull them out and put them out in a brown bag ahead of time for any future recipes you plan to make. I had 10 pounds of pears and they lasted 2 months and only 1 went to waste. LOVE THESE FRUIT! My daughter ate them every day. I have a Feta, pear and avacado salad recipe if you would like it. I LOVE IT! It's a perfect fall salad recipe that's always a hit.

It has really become baking season around here too.

Yummy, to be sure, but not necessarily pants friendly.

i LOVE pears. I was at a gathering once (was it at my grandpa's funeral) and someone brought in some sort of pear cake. It was soooo good and moist...happen to have that recipe lying around???

The other day I saw a picture of some really pretty & delicious looking glazed pears. They were almost too pretty to eat - looking.

I'll be watching to see how the cobbler turns out.

Yum! Cobblers are awesome. I've actually never had a pear cobbler before, never even really thought that they could exist. Now I'm dying to try one!

Saucy is as saucy does. So whip up some pear syrup. It is light and sweet over waffles. Yumm. Wish I could climb your pear tree and give it a good shake. Then we would have syrup for all the winter.
See if these help any.
