Bon Voyage

Check out more stuff at Wordless Wednesday at 5 Minutes for Mom or Wordful Wednesday on SevEn cLoWn CirCus:-) And, I have added Mostly Wordless Wednesday over at Ordinary and Awesome to my list too!! Go check them all out:-)

Since my oldest was headed for Spain, I honored the occasion with the Spanish flag in cake:

She couldn't have gone to Japan...where the flag is white with a big red dot...No...she had to pick a country with details like this:

I think I pulled it off ok...don't you think?

You did a wonderful job. If I tried something like that, the flag would have looked like a big blog of black.

Viva EspaƱa! My girls have both gone in the past year and can't wait to go back. She'll have so much fun! Love the cake...you're a talented Mamasita, aren't you?

Very impressive!

Libya would have been even easier than Japan. It's just solid green. :-)

But you did a great job!

When I went to Canada for 18 months, my mom just got a chocolate cake with flowers on it. Granted, it was the best chocolate cake I'd ever had in my entire life, but there wasn't any cute maple leaf on it.

Susie that cake is adorable! How you fairing under her absence today? I know she loves you and you and I both know that those angles are watching over you.

You did a great job with that design! I am so impressed. I can hardly get Bob the Builder cakes to look like Bob, but you had this one in the bag.
